Kai's 3rd Birthday and 1st day of School

Kai did not just have one birthday party this year.. but 3 birthday parties! . He was spoiled rotton!

One the 28th of Apirl his real birthday.. we did not do much. Bianca gave him his present from her early that morning before she left for school. She spent her own allowence money to buy him a CARS HAT

for his birthday. He loved it so much and wore it almost all day! My sister took Kai for a few hours and bought him his gifts from her. She brought him back soon after Bianca got home from school.. and Kman had picked his own presents.. a new pair of shades.. some diego shoes.. bubbles.. and a few other goodies! They even got a new shirt for miss Bianca! We spent a lot of the afternoon on his birthday playing in the yard. He really got a kick out of that.. running about.. playing on his swing set.

and eatting popsicles..

When daddy got home from work.. we all went out to CHUCKIE CHEESE as a family for dinner!

We ate our pizza.. and then the kids took off to play. ME and Bianca did the bowling game.. and Bianca beat me something horrible.

and Kman loved the big monster truck ride.. ..we played games till nearly 7 pm, when we headed home and packed up backpacks for the next day.. and took baths, washed hair and headed to bed... for the next day would be another big day in Kai's life.. HIS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Kai's Trip to Madison

I haven't updated in AGES, and I am sooo sorry I am so behind. I been so busy lately. Anyways.. on April 6th, 2009 we took Kai back to Madison, Wisconsin to see his specialist. The apt went quite well. We got in right on time. and they weighed him and checked his height. Kai has been eatting pretty good since having his tonsils out and because of that he is now right below adverage in his weight and right at adverage for his height!

She was really impressed with his weight gain. We told her that since he had his tonsils out he has been eatting so much.. and she kinda blew us off. But it is true! .. you can check Kai's weight .. when he went in for his tonsils to be removed he was LOW... in weight.. but when we went to madison a few weeks later.. his weight was Up.. almost 4 pounds. I really think his tonsils were causing him so much pain he did not want to eat and now that they are out he has been eatting so much more! I am just happy he is almost adverage! .. Of course he wants to keep him on the high calorie diet.. but the GOOD NEWS..

is that we do not have to go back to Madison for awhile.. if he keeps on the weight gain path he is on now..

His specailist wants us to do MONTHLY checks here in La Crosse.. and have the nurse here fax the height and weight to her in Madison. OF course if his weight drops drastically or something werid happens.. we will go back to Madison.. otherwise.. we are on the go and things are looking up for our little man!

Also she said that we could slowly add more milk into his diet.. sticking to a glass a day and adding a little Carnation Instant breakfest to it for extra calories.

I am just over thrilled with the good news! and happy my kid is finally after months gainning the meat on his bones he needs!!!

In other news, Asia has decided that crusing the couch is a lot of fun.. and pulling herself up on everything. She is even trying to stand up in the middle of the living room by herself. And can stand a few seconds without falling backwards.. She is growing up sooo big!

Miss Asia also now has 4 chompers. Two fully in on the bottom, one almost all the way in on top and one just popping through on top! And.. she decided that she perfers big people food over baby food.. and loves to eat what ever we are eatting now. If you put baby food on her plate she turns away and wants the real stuff!
More news.. Kai got his birthday present early from mommy and daddy. April 8th.. we bought a swing set for the kids on sale at Kmart. We had been wanting to get one for awhile and even looked at a few last summer.. but there was none that really looked perferct to us.. well when they went on sale.. we went and looked again and found this one! It is huge!!! perfect for the kids. Ray and Brian set it up.. and the kids are loving it! We paid $189 for it.. and it has places for 3 swings, a slide.. and two person swing, tee-ter-tooter.. and is just perfect! I have a feeling mom is gonna spend a lot of time outside this summer with the kids on it!

Kai's 3 year photos

Kai turns 3 on April 28th so yesterday we had his three year photos taken! he did such a good job! I was sooo proud of him!

The lady took the most awesome shot ever first.. it turned out soooo good.. his eyes were sparkling so beautiful and he was looking right at the camera.. only to find out.. the darn lady forgot to reload the camera and there was no film in there. GRRRR

so yeah the first 15 mins and that beautiful shot were lost..

but I did get some good shots of my little Kman
